Historiek of Belintra N.V.

Belintra has been founded in 1965 by five owners of industrial Laundries in Belgium.

The original Company-goal was to import and distribute accessories and consumables for the Belgian Textile Cleaning Sector: laundry and dry-cleaning. In the early seventies Belintra took the position of leading Belgian specialist in its sector.

In 1993 a new management-team was introduced. The new team reoriented Belintra into specialization in internal transport material for textile, originally for the Textile Cleaning Sector, but later also for the Healthcare Sector.

Today Belintra runs a complete line of internal and external transport material and storage systems for medicine, sterile goods, linen and waste.

Apart from the internal transport material Belintra also provides solutions for tracking and tracing goods. RFID technology plays an important role in these solutions.

Number 1 in Belgium and a growing export

Today Belintra is Market Leader in Belgium for mobile hospital equipment. And new developments for medicine transport and distribution have been announced.

To promote our products and services in the Health-Care sector we also participate in several expositions and congresses in Belgium and abroad.

More than 75% of the Hospitals , including most important University Hospitals in Belgium are already working with Belintra as partner for all their logistic problems.
Belintra's brand "MEXIZ" for Sterile equipment is winning position in various export Markets.
